Call 12: Journalism Partnerships – Collaborations

With a deadline set for February 14, 2024, this call recognizes the challenges facing the European news media sector. It addresses the economic pressures on professional journalism due to the digital shift and aims to enhance sustainability and resilience. The focus is on supporting cross-border media collaborations, promoting trustworthy reporting, and developing new business models. Expected outcomes include increased innovation in business and journalistic processes, heightened interest in journalism across diverse demographics, and improved viability of professionally produced journalistic content.

Activities eligible for funding span a spectrum—from developing revenue models to fostering audience development, community-building, and marketing. Projects are encouraged to explore innovative production methods, formats, and collaborations to elevate the quality of reporting. With a keen eye on inclusivity, the call supports activities that benefit small media organizations, ensuring a comprehensive approach to transforming the news media sector.



Call 13: European Platforms for Emerging Artists

Set to close on January 31, 2024, this call revolves around promoting emerging European artists, improving their international visibility, and facilitating their circulation. The emphasis is on inclusivity, sustainability, and digital transformation. Projects are expected to establish platforms showcasing non-national emerging artists, promote fair working conditions, and contribute to resilient and sustainable societies. The call also encourages the development of a common communication and branding strategy, peer-learning, and networking.

The action aims to support around 15 platforms, each committed to supporting at least 50 emerging artists annually. The goal is to build a structured network that enhances European cultural diversity while fostering sustainable practices and collaborations.


Call 14: Markets & Networking

Closing on January 18, 2024, this call seeks to enhance the promotion of European content globally and encourage cooperation throughout the audiovisual value chain. The objectives encompass improving the innovative aspect of existing European industry markets, promoting sustainability, and boosting the competitiveness of European audiovisual works. This includes supporting the greening process of markets, ensuring diversity and inclusion, and leveraging technological and business innovation.

Funding is available for industry events, networks of markets, and networking activities across the audiovisual value chain. The call envisions a robust audiovisual ecosystem that capitalizes on market trends, innovative content, and collaborations, ensuring Europe's audiovisual industry remains at the forefront of global markets.


Call 15: European Networks of Cultural and Creative Organisations

Closing on March 7, 2024, this call aims to enhance the capacities of European cultural and creative sectors to face common challenges and nurture talents. Projects implemented by multi-country, membership-based networks of European cultural organizations are sought, covering a wide range of Creative Europe participating countries.
