The Global Partnership for Assistive Technology (ATScale) and the International Disability Alliance (IDA) have joined forces to launch the IDA-ATScale Microgrants 2023. This initiative aims to empower organizations representing persons with disabilities and assistive technology users to spearhead local and national projects focused on advancing assistive technologies in select countries.

Microgrants are often overlooked by consultancy agencies because the relatively modest amount of funding they provide leaves little room for their client support interventions. In other words, these funds aren't substantial enough to allow those who apply for them to enlist the help of a consultant.
